Our Signature Line Organic Herbal Formulas were created exclusively for The Holistic Horse by a leading equine veterinarian specializing in endocrinology, herbs and nutrition.
Nature has provided us with a variety of wonderful healing herbs which we have custom blended to benefit your horse’s health.
These amazing formulas contain the very finest certified organic herbs. They are handcrafted and mixed in small batches to ensure freshness and quality. We freshly grind many of our herbs upon order. They are also non-GMO, without fillers and are free of sugar and non-structural carbohydrates (NSC). Therefore these formulas are suitable to feed to horses with IR/Metabolic issues.
While other companies may offer similar products, many of their herbs are not organic. Our formulas also have a much higher concentration of herbs per dose ensuring greater effectiveness. They also contain unique herbs not found in other products.
Healing Herbs and their beneficial properties:
Organic Anise: Effective natural expectorant – relieves congestion and coughing, digestive aid, anti inflammatory
Organic Burdock Root: Blood purifier, antiseptic,diuretic
Organic Echinacea Angustifolia Root: Anti inflammatory, antiviral, antibacterial and antibiotic properties, relieves symptoms of respiratory tract infections, immune system support, glandular and lymphatic system cleanser. Angustifolia is particularly beneficial for the respiratory system.
Organic Eyebright: Anti inflammatory, antiseptic, liver stimulant to help cleanse the blood.
Organic Nettle Leaf: Gold standard for allergy relief, blood purifier, rich source of vitamin C and iron.
Organic Peppermint: Natural antihistamine and decongestant,antispasmodic (helps relax muscles of the respiratory tract) natural expectorant.
Organic Stevia: Natural sweetener, anti bacterial, anti oxidant, promotes proper digestion, contains potassium zinc, magnesium and vitamin B3.
Inositol: Vitamin B complex family member (B8) and is found in every cell in the body. Assists the central nervous system improving nerve function and has a natural calming effect. It helps breakdown and redistribute body fat and maintain proper levels of the brain’s neurotransmitters.
Magnesium Glycinate: Magnesium is a naturally occurring essential mineral that is important for many systems in the body. It’s important for bone formation and especially the muscles (relaxer) and nerves. Magnesium deficiency is linked with insulin resistance (IR) and metabolic disorders.

This product is amazing! My horse has suffered from seasonal allergies here in Florida for years. I’ve tried a lot of different products. The Allergex is by far the most effective treatment we’ve used. My horse used to bite and scratch himself until he bled. The traditional vets only offered steroids which I wouldn’t do. Since I’ve used Allergex his itching has dramatically decreased. He’s so much happier and so am I!
