Nature has provided us with a variety of wonderful healing herbs which we have custom blended to benefit your horse’s health.

These amazing formulas contain the very finest certified organic herbs. They are handcrafted and mixed in small batches to ensure freshness and quality. We freshly grind many of our herbs upon order. They are also non-GMO, without fillers and are free of sugar and non-structural carbohydrates (NSC). Therefore these formulas are suitable to feed to horses with IR/Metabolic issues.

While other companies may offer similar products, many of their herbs are not organic. Our formulas also have a much higher concentration of herbs per dose ensuring greater effectiveness. They also contain unique herbs not found in other products.

Healing Herbs and their beneficial properties:

Organic Chamomile: One of the best known herbs for its sedative qualities and is helpful for nervousness and cramps. A natural muscle relaxer and aids in digestion and relieves indigestion. Chamomile has been found to cleanse the liver and has anti-inflammatory properties.

Organic Chastetree: (also known as Vitex agnus castus)  -supports normal function of the pituitary gland by allowing it to thrive and perform properly by helping to maintain dopamine levels in the blood and supporting regulation of both the pituitary and adrenal glands. Used for centuries to help maintain a balanced hormonal system.

Organic Fenugreek: A favorite flavor of horses! Dissolves mucus, anti inflammatory, antiseptic, expectorant. Helps strengthen the respiratory system, mucous membranes and sinus congestion. Soothing to the gastrointestinal system. Aids in reducing blood sugar and supports healthy metabolic function in insulin resistant horses.

Organic Holy Basil Krishna: A member of the mint family, aids in the relief of respiratory disorders, such as asthma, bronchitis and lung conditions. A powerful anti oxidant, antibacterial, anti fungal and anti inflammatory. A natural adaptogen enhancing the body’s natural response to physical and emotional stress.

Organic Passion Flower: An herb with gentle sedative properties producing a relaxing effect, especially when combined with a more dominant nervine such as chamomile. Helps to rebalance a horse’s nervous system. Also an anti inflammatory and soothing to the digestive system.

Organic Raspberry Leaves: Helps to regulate the hormonal swings in a moody mare. Also an anti-spasmodic and is beneficial for relaxing muscles. Raspberry also promotes tissue healing and helps strengthen the entire reproductive system.

Organic Stevia: A natural sweetener, anti bacterial, anti oxidant, promotes proper digestion, contains potassium zinc, magnesium and vitamin B3.

Inositol: Vitamin B complex family member (B8) and is found in every cell in the body. Assists the central nervous system improving nerve function and has a natural calming effect. . It helps breakdown and redistribute body fat and maintain proper levels of the brain’s neurotransmitters.

Magnesium Glycinate: Magnesium is a naturally occurring essential mineral that is important for many systems in the body. It’s important for bone formation and especially the muscles (relaxer) and nerves. Magnesium deficiency is linked with insulin resistance (IR) and metabolic disorders.
