Our Organic Icelandic Kelp is the highest quality kelp available. It is 100% organic and contains 60 trace minerals, micro nutrients, and amino acids as well as many natural vitamins. Kelp can help boost the immune system, balance hormones and lower high blood cholesterol levels. Because kelp contains plentiful iodine, it is extremely healthy for the endocrine system and is a great choice for horses with EMS (Equine Metabolic Syndrome) such as Cushing’s Disease (PPID) and Insulin Resistance (IR). It helps control the thyroid and regulates metabolism. Kelp is very beneficial for horses with hypothyroidism. Hair and mineral analysis commonly reveal many horses are lacking iodine in their diet. The nutrients in our organic sea kelp supply essential minerals and iodine for metabolic health. Our kelp contains approximately 22 mg of iodine per ounce. (1 oz. of kelp = approx. 2 level Tablespoons).

NOTE:
3 lb. bag = approximately 160 Tablespoons.
5 lb. bag = approximately 266 Tablespoons.

NOTE: Due to the high demand for this product and supplier shortages, we are limiting the number of 3 lb. and 5 lb. bags you can purchase to 2 per customer until further notice. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Here is what a few of our customers have to say about our Organic Icelandic Kelp and how it helped their animals:

We had a really wet winter and spring, and I was very worried about my horse’s hooves. Every time the trimmer came out she remarked on how healthy all of their hooves were. The only thing I have changed was adding this to their diet.    Kelly – Utah

Great product! I’ve noticed a significant improvement in my gelding’s hooves, coat, and demeanor.    Desirea – Wake Forest, North Carolina

My horses hooves are the healthiest they have ever been in the 13 years I have owned her after being on the Icelandic kelp for 5 months. Also my 8 year old chicken is laying after I thought she was too old to be productive.
