Dosage for 1,000 lb horse: 1/2 to 1 oz. daily mixed in with feed. Introduce gradually. Depending on sensitivity level of the horse, if you notice softer stools or diarrhea, decrease dose.
Not recommended during fever or bleeding and with high insulin sensitivity (EPSSM horse)

Our 15 year old Fell pony presented with a leptin score of 49 late last summer. He was re-checked in early fall, it was 50. Normal is 5-15 (20 for drafts). Other blood levels were within normal. Our vet recommended Ceylon cinnamon. His results in early March were 21.9 He is gradually losing the extra weight, with no other changes. A marvelous testament to this product!
